Omar Thornton, a warehouse driver, shot 10 and killed 8 people at Hartford Distributors Warehouse in Manchester before killing himself in the worst mass shooting in Connecticut, August 3, 2010. “I shot the racists that was bothering me,” he told his mother.
A police investigation concluded there was no evidence to support that claim. Thornton never reported discrimination to Teamsters Union officials.

Ring of fire, solar eclipse over the USA – May 20, 2012. The eclipse will occur in the afternoon and early evening on Sunday (May 20). At its peak, the moon will block roughly 94 percent of the sun’s light. The so-called annular solar eclipse will not completely cover the sun, but will produce a spectacular “ring of fire” in the sky for well-placed observers. (“Annulus” is the Latin word for “little ring.”)
The eclipse will begin in China, but in parts of eight western states — Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. Viewers living within a path averaging about 190 miles (306 kilometers) wide. The path of annularity extends from the coastline at the California-Oregon border to northwestern Texas, where it will end at local sunset.

Minority babies are now majority in United States according to US census. 50.4 percent of our Nation’s population younger than age 1 were minorities as of July 1, 2011. But, a minority is anyone who is not single-race white and not Hispanic.
Hispanics at 16.7 percent and number 52 million and Asians who numbered 18.2 million at 3.0 percent were the fastest growing minority group.
California has the largest Hispanic and Asian population. New York had the largest black or African-American population with Cook county Chicago having the largest black or African-American population of any county in 2011 (1.3 million) . Maine had the highest percentage of the non-Hispanic white alone population (94.3 percent).

Security supervisor using dead man’s ID was arrested for identity theft after 20 years employed at Newark Airport. Bimbo Olumuyiwa Oyewole 54, aka Jerry Thomas was shot to death in Queens in 1992. Three years earlier, Oyewole entered the US from Nigeria stated a Port Authority spokesman. He passed background check and was vetted by his employer, by the state, and by the federal government.
Oyewole, an illegal, was a supervisor of 30 guards who worked for FJC Security. The company was awarded a four-year $145 million contract to supply unarmed guards supplement the agency’s armed police force. The New Jersey State Police and Customs and Border Patrol had granted Thomas a private security guard license through a fingerprint-based criminal check and a training course.
But, feel safe Americans. The licensing application would have disqualified a person if the fingerprints and other information would have been associated with a conviction of a drug offense or indictable crime.

Black Man Hijacks Carriage, Punches and Kicks Horse, St. Louis
A black man hijacked a carriage, then punched and kicked a horse in St. Louis. Police obtained suspect Johnny Medina, 40, after a military witness and employees placed him in a choke hold until he was unconscious. The horse did not have any injuries. Medina was charged with robbery, theft assault and animal cruelty.
Police said the victim was steering a horse-drawn carriage around 8:25 p.m. when he saw the suspect running toward him. He jumped into the side of the carriage and hit the victim in the head with a cane. Medina then took control of the reins and the victim jumped out of the carriage, according to police.
