Navy To Recruit More Minority SEALs

Who is demanding affirmative action in Special Forces now?

It’s a fundamental challenge in a democracy with an all-volunteer force: recruits may be drawn from all segments of society, but elite military units – and none is more elite these days than the SEALs, following their dispatch of Osama bin Laden last May – tend to draw from small pools of talent. For the SEALs, that includes athletic young men who are smart and good in the water. For whatever reason, that has led to an overwhelmingly white SEAL force.

The SEALs are seeking a contractor to generate SEAL-related contacts with at least “a thousand (1000) minority males aged 16-24 per metropolitan region” over a 12-month period. At least 100 of those are expected to reach out to the Navy and say they are interested in becoming SEALs or a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen, who get the SEALs where they need to go, usually via small boats. The contractor is expected to mentor 15 “high potential minority candidates” per region.

The draft solicitation also spells out the richest fishing grounds for SEALs of specific ethnic backgrounds, and encourages bidders to craft marketing campaigns to target them by region. “Regional campaigns will be conducted in metropolitan areas considered centers of diversity for African Americans (AA), Hispanics (H), Arab Americans (AR), and Asian Pacific Islanders (API) and that are of particular interest to the NSW RD [Naval Special Warfare Recruiting Directorate],” the draft solicitation says. “The bidder’s solicitation will include an engagement plan and fixed pricing for each region.”

Parents React, Kindergarteners at Houston,Texas Elementary School Learn Pro-Obama Poem “He’s Our Man, Yes We Can!”

In Nevada, high school students are receiving actual class credit for volunteering in the reelection of Obama 2012.

Is there indoctrination of our youth in America, you bet.

At Tipps Elementary School in Houston, teachers sent K children home with an assignment to learn a poem that gives excessive praises of Obama as part of Black History Month. The students were to perform it on another night.

A Radio talk show host Joe ‘Pags’ Pagliarulo (WOAI)  called attention to the outrage.  The parents in the school nipped it in the bud before it got out of control. No Obama Song for you.

The people have spoken in Houston and forced a school to change a its decision to use an over-the-top poem praising President Obama.

Nevada Students Get Class Credit When Volunteering for Obama Reelection 2012

Is this the indoctrination of our youth?

Loretta Harper of Las Vegas is a newly named national co-chair of President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign. Also is a counselor at Desert Pines High School. She’s also a member of the Board of Directors of the Nevada State Educators Association.

During the 2008 Obama campaign, when he won Nevada on his way to the presidency, Harper said she got more than 100 students extra credit when they volunteered to help elect the Democrat.

But in 2012, they were receiving actual class credit.

Obama Sings Sweet Home Chicago, Blues Night at White House

Obama tries his singing ability again in East Room of the White House’s ‘Blues Night’ celebrating Black History Month. with his rendition of Sweet Home Chicago. BB King, Mick Jaggar, and Jeff Beck were in attendance.

Don’t they all look like they are having a blast? Michelle Obama just came back from Aspen, CO Monday.  Now, she has a private blues concert at the White house. No worries here just move along Americans.

“Black Dog Obama” Afghans Protest Buring of Koran

This is Black History Month. But you will not view this on the MSM.

Afghan demonstrators parade an effigy representing US President Barack Obama as they shout anti-US slogans during a protest against Koran desecration in Jalalabad on Wednesday. At least five Afghans were shot dead and dozens wounded in clashes between police and protesters, officials said, after reports that the Koran was burned at a US-run military base.

Teens in California Can Receive Free Mail Ordered Condoms Online

Teenagers in several counties in California can get condoms in the mail for free under a federally funded program called the Condom Access Project. It is supported by state public health officials.  They just click the website Teen Source .org, the package will be mailed to their house in a nondescript envelopes.

Youths between the ages of 12 and 19, can receive 10 condoms, and personal lubricant free once per month.

This program was launched on Valentines day.

Michelle Obama Decides to Ski Aspen President’s Day Weekend

It is President’s Day weekend and Michelle Obama has decided to head to Aspen not Vail this time on her winter wonderland trip, 2012. The family just returned from Hawaii last month.

Michelle’s decision to ski out West again instead of hitting slopes closer to Washington would seem an inopportune choice for a first lady who is helping her husband campaign on issues of “fairness.”

The Obama campaign has set itself up as the defender of the poor and the middle class against the “One Percent,” a theme which clashes with the image a first lady who is taking frequent and exclusive vacations.

Michelle this weekend is reportedly staying at the Aspen home of a wealthy Obama backer from Chicago. She held a fundraiser at the same residence last July.
