Old New York Digi-Art By TMJ, P. AsheDina © 2013
I made this digi for MareZilla… {In case you have not read her site} & Puma by design.
When we were kids, NYC was a FUN place to visit. Up until the late 1980′s, it was a rockin, fantastic city. Broadway, restaurants, art-galleries (they didn’t have galleries that had pee in a jar like now), Pizza parlors on every corner…And the one thing I loved best; The foul-mouthed NY Italian guy telling off some putz in the best bad language ever.
Yesterday afternoon, I wrote a post about how Commie (leftists) have destroyed this country.. Evidence of this is just going down-town, NYC. It’s just a hell-hole, multi-culture mess, where nobody gets along with anybody because nobody has the spirit of America in common.. Why? Because the Commie-leftists hated the American spirit. So, they killed it. They are still not happy, by the way…
At any rate, I don’t want to get too depressed..NYC and so many parts of Cali are a dump. Oodles of people have left that had generations of family there for over a hundred years..We (many of us) are now in the ‘ghettos’ ..outside of our indigenous homes and states. It makes me so f’n mad that I will just shut the hell up before I blow-up the damned computer..I’m just weeping, listening to New York State Of Mind. F’k you ‘liberals’, just go DIE. You sick, demented, lunatic, maniacal, rat-bastards.
Here, Zilla & Puma….for old times sake:

In the late 80s, when the City was “bad”, I was a teen delinquent so visiting Manhattan was fun for me since that’s where we could buy beer without getting carded, so my friends and used to go there a lot, but what I really remember about hanging out in Manhattan back then was how everywhere smelled like pee and very often barf as well since there were just wasted people all over the place all of the time.
Now the City is not only high crime again, but it’s also run by tyrants. At least back in the old days when you risked getting mugged by visiting you still also had a decent chance of having a good time, but there is no fun to be had in Bloomberg’s Manhattan, where even legal things (like smokes, soda, and yummy greasy food) are “illegal”, and you are not allowed to carry LEGAL weapons to defend yourself from the ever growing ranks of armed criminals there.
Thanks for the shoutout, MJ.
XOXO
It wasnt ‘bad!’ it was just a little dirty LOL
Beautiful and I thank you TMJ.
Indeed, my heart weeps for the New York of old. I weep for Danny who owned the butcher downstairs. I weep for the Jewish grocery store down the street. My grandmother knew the owner and his wife. They had been friends for twenty years.
I weep for the chicken market down the street and the bakery who every morning at 4 a.m. I grandmother would visit to buy us jelly donuts and the adults their bagels.
I miss the respect that we showed one another.
Your post takes me back the Christmas of ’66. We lived in an apartment building with about twenty-five families at the time. All of the dads were off in Vietnam and the mothers, many of whom worked in factories sewing sleeves on men’s or women’s blouses were struggling trying to make a Christmas for their families.
On this Christmas Eve, Danny delivered to each family a shopping bag with a turkey or ham and all the trimmings for a Christmas dinner.
Two years later, racist illegal aliens and the freaking Black Panthers came bringing with them bad attitudes, drugs, riots and crime. Things began to change.
We eventually moved from the horrible block but remembering, once out on my own, I went back to visit and to give him my business. Never forgot what he did for us that Christmas only to find out that Danny closed up shop and went elsewhere. Not that I blame the man.
New York City has become a foul place.
Peace and blessings.

I never have been to the glorious rainbow utopia of NYC. I have bought many rare albums from a shop there before C.O.D. went away. I’m sure the people there are two hoots and a hollar but I try to stay away from small deformed penis control freaks like the ones who are in politics in NYC.
Yeah, well, it aint a utopia there AT ALL!!
EDIT:
We dont take instruction on the Talmud from people that are not educated about it.
You are just another Jew hater, and thats fine.
Whatever.
But, we dont post defamation against Judaism, Christianity or Buddhism here.
So, if you want to converse, VATO, come and talk about something you are educated in, like border jumping.
