Fifteen leaders of churches and faith-based groups (Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian (USA), UCC churches, and the National Council of Churches) recently sent a letter to Congress requesting a re-evaluation of American aid to Israel (so much for separation of Church and state). These Bible-denying leaders want Congress to hold hearings and withdraw aid to Israel if Israel doesn’t abide by the US desire to divide the Promised Land. His Land!
These Church leaders are committed to false doctrines and falsehood because they advance the fiction that the Church has replaced Israel and that the PA wants peace. They have abandoned clear teachings in the Bible, ignored the statements and actions of the PA, and they are not ashamed to do it. I forgot to add. the same churches protect Homosexuality in America. A group of Omaha pastors had issued a proclamation that states homosexuality is NOT a sin. More than 100 ordained Christian ministers have signed the proclamation, including leaders from Lutheran, Episcopalian, United Church of Christ, United Methodist, and Presbyterian churches.
Dozens of churches, from Park Hill Congregational in Denver to Hillview United Methodist in Boise, Idaho, and First United Lutheran in San Francisco to St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Honolulu, sent “a message both here at home and to the Arab and Muslim world about America’s RESPECT for Islam” with a time to read the quran during worship this Sunday. The aim of the programme, which is promoted by social activists behind the Faith Shared website, is to counter the message from Islamic activists who say opposition to their religion is the product of what they call a cottage industry of hate. So the Interfaith Alliance and Human Rights First is calling on Christian clergy to read portions of the quran during their services Sunday.
