It is well recognized throughout this country, even by liberals, that California is nothing more than a ‘Horn ‘O Plenty’ when it comes to this nation’s judiciary “Fruit Basket”.
One could view this as a defeat, but that view at this early stage of play would be a definite error. This is a real-life game of poker with incredibly high stakes. And this latest deal of the cards has simply been nothing more than a necessary card needed to be played, and subsequently raised against. And it was done so as prescribed by this nation’s judiciary process in the form of a well-defined chain of command.
However one chooses to look at it, as prescribed by judiciary precedence, it was necessary for the authors of this lawsuit to seek a hearing by the State of California’s Supreme Court before their petition could move forward and be brought before the U.S. Supreme Court for consideration. As well, this same initial court action within each respective State is one that will be required by all other petitioners who choose to follow suit… pun definitely intended!
Now we shall see whether anyone at this nation’s supreme level of judiciary has the balls to handle what has been here-to-fore labeled a “Political Hot Potato that’s Too Hot to handle”.
BTW, other states are now following suit (again pun intended), with petitioners in Alabama being the next one’s announcing their attack. Others are sure soon to follow, in such rapid secession that the issue is soon to become one that can no longer be ignored at the national level without raising considerable risk of an out-and-out civil war to follow.
