Stevens was a most Evil and vile man. Working for a most Evil and vile govt. What must be said over and again: The US and NATO needlessly intervened in Libya against a contained, secular dictator who had scrapped his weapons of mass destruction programs and support for international terrorism and, in spite of his lunacy, had actually become an important ally in the fight against Islamist terrorism. The intervention destroyed Libya, put Islamists in power and unleashed Al Qaeda in Libya. Which is what Evil America with its Evil Muslim Psychopath wanted, all along. Stevens was engaged in organizing rebels and guns to murder Assad before he was taken out. In typical American way.

I’m not sure what Ambassador Stevens did or what he threatened to do (or expose) but when the ORDER came down to eliminate him and to make it look like Terrorism no one planned on this many loose ends. It was too sloppy. Al Queda is much smarter than that.
The building was on fire and yet important papers were found incriminating the US Government. Even teenage thugs from Chicago know enough to burn up ALL the evidence not just some of it. So it must have been an super fast decision!

Also if Stevens was gunned down in a Chicago style professional killing (2 in back of the head no witnesses) it would look more like a Mob Hit on a Guy who knew too much. And if he had said something to his wife (or whoever), and later that was revealed, things would have been complicated.
They needed to silence him FAST so they hired some local guys to make it look like a real live Terrorist Attack. It wasn’t necessary to go through all of that just to whack this Ambassador guy. Rocket Launchers? RPG’s? Machine guns. Someone could have walked into the Ambassador’s office or just followed him and BANG! Problem solved but that would look like a Chicago Mob Hit. You see it HAD to LOOK LIKE Terrorism.
Ya see thats the beauty of their fiendish plot. Even IF someone comes forward now with INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE the Media will ignore the facts because it was so-called ‘Terrorism’.
