QV – I would say that according to the Bible – all nations are cursed, because every one – every one – has turned from Him. His judgement will rightly fall.

How could the devil offer the kingdoms of the entire world to Jesus Christ, if they weren’t his to offer? The Bible also says that every nation is going to turn against Israel at the end – that would include America. As a Bible teacher, my concern is not with politics (because the Word is clear that they are all controlled by Satan) – but with reaching lost souls – Jews and Gentiles – with the Gospel of Peace, before it’s too late. I don’t wish those end-time judgements on anyone.
Mark of the Beast. I cannot believe people are going to accept this without a whimper.
Oh yeah. They’ve been convinced it’s for the “good of the children” and of course it will NEVER be used to invade a studen’ts privacy. Yeah. Right.

MJ – I used to feel that way a long time ago. But after years of intense Bible study, I have come to the point where all I can think about is spreading the Gospel. We are to “put on the mind of Christ.”

That’s why He has given the church 2,000 years to work. It wasn’t to feed the hungry – (Rick Warren, and the Social Gospel: etal ) – it was to sow the Word of God. He will have his vengeance, but I suffer under the burden of many acquaintances and friends with children that are unsaved. It’s heartbreaking.

MJ, you are not alone. I too look forward to seeing the vile putrid dregs judged by a holy God. That would also include me as well. Judgement touches all. I know what sagebrush says is true, however, if God Himself laughs at the wicked for He sees his day is coming, then how much more am I to NOT be offended by the blatant evil I see going on? Remember one of the prophets thought he was the only one left and he lamented to G_d. But what did G_d do? He showed the prophet how many were left in Israel that had not bowed their knees to the false god. You say so what? The so what is that G_d knows about you and what you have done. Stand strong and faithful and he will deliver you! Also when you meet those that are so evil that you wish harm on them, take time to visit a friend who has a baby hold that baby and show it some kindness and watch how she/he reacts. Remember all these evil people were once innocent babies. Someone along the way taught them how to be cruel, evil and heartless. It is thru you and your example that you can change this world. If all who have not turned and served another would arise to counter this culture with love and godliness we could change it. As I have heard said be not weary in well doing! An excellent and depressing factual book I read 2 years ago is called The East Came West’ by Peter Huxley-Blythe.
