The US is very much a part of the beast system. One by one the strong men of the ME are being deposed – and being replaced with volatile radicals. Why? To cause the merger of these formerly separated Muslims cultures into one cohesive super nation. Hmmm – wonder if the Egyptians miss Mubarak?
The classic way of achieving this is to give them the common enemy to unite against. ISRAEL. They will achieve the 10 nation federation of the One World Government – the area being merged now consists of Northern Africa and the ME, Super Nation # 7 (with the exception of Israel, of course.) Daniel’s prophecy fulfilled to the last detail. We are super nation #1, with Canada of course – and possibly Mexico. But that is not certain.
But, at least we can be grateful that this world empire will be short lived (compared to the original Roman Empire) and never fully solidified – hence the feet of mingled clay and iron.
I wonder all the time if Rev 17 and 18 is America. I think so.
All of this is so evil, its a main reason why I dont post all that much anymore. Usually my husband posts QV’s news from the east, Goldbug gals news that are conspiracy oriented (b/c we never hear the REAL truth) and Davids opinions.
I used to write a LOT more than now.

MJ – I do not believe the United States alone is “Mystery Babylon,” of Revelation 18. My understanding of it is as an ecclesiastical Babylon – in other words – the One World Religion under anti-Christ. Right now we are living in the last church age (lukewarm) of the seven churches addressed in Rev. 1-3. The “church” that will be dominant after that is the apostate church -or world church. It is in the formative stage right now. Undoubtedly you have observed the ecumenical strip of world religion symbols on some car bumper stickers. It’s like the United Nations of religions.
The harlot or “Great Whore,” is the false church. The counterfeit bride for the counterfeit christ. Not the true “Bride of Christ.” There have been several Popes and other religious “leaders” who have pursued this ecumenical absorption of pagan religions, (syncretism) which is how such pagan practices such as Saturnalia (Christmas)and Eostre (Easter) became “Holy Days.” Even Mother Theresa stated – “The Hindus have salvation.” ?????
While she worked with the poor, Mother Teresa was adamant that any type of evangelism was unnecessary. In her book, Life in the Spirit: Reflections, Meditations and Prayers, she says:
“We never try to convert those who receive [aid from Missionaries of Charity] to Christianity but in our work we bear witness to the love of God’s presence and if Catholics, Protestants, Buddhists, or agnostics become for this better men — simply better — we will be satisfied. John 14:6 (KJV)

He does not say He is “a” way – He says He is “the” way. There is no other way. Period.
I believe the United States is mentioned is prophecy – (this is just my take on this!)
“3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
4 The first was like a lion, ( Great Britain) and had eagle’s wings (United States): I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.”
Daniel 7: 3-4
But most fascinating – is that Daniel’s beasts are again in Revelation – but they are combined into one creature! (New World Order)
1″ And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Revelation 13:
In verse two above – the lion no longer has its “eagle wings.” But I believe that is how is will be for the United States. We will be part of the One World conglomeration for a time – but will separate (as it says in Daniel).
In Revelation 12 14 is this fascinating verse -
” And to the woman (Israel) were given two wings of a great eagle (United States?), that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, (3 1/2 years) from the face of the serpent.”

I understand what you are saying about New York city – but it simply is not the religious center of the world. Try not to internalize the prophecies too much. Remember the final world government will be a “world government.” All the nations of the world are going to turn against Israel – all of them. That is what is being accomplished with “Arab Spring.” Each one of these countries as they have come into the fold, have suddenly been gifted with a central bank. As I sarcastically stated in an article I wrote for FOTM – “those silly Syrians don’t want a central bank.” And that’s what it’s all about!
I do believe that New York city is a scion of paganism, complete with goddess worship (Statue of Liberty) but there are many nations and cities with blasphemy as their foundation. Why, Washington D.C. alone is chock full of occult symbolism. So is Chicago, Denver, and Vatican City!. Not to mention the Asian countries, and look at Mecca – with that disgusting moon rock – Kaaba – that they slather all over. I see no reason to anoint New York with any more, or less guilt than the rest of the world.
The “many waters” means that it is world wide – out of many peoples. There are several places in Scripture where seas refer to many peoples. (or people groups) As the most powerful men in the world (Lord Rothschild among them ) are now positioning themselves to destroy the Euro – we can expect the next move to be towards a global currency. Some how, they will convince the sheeple that it’s the only way – and we can all live in peace and harmony. Snark. And then all the Muslim nations – which formerly eschewed any type of central banking – will be brought in with all sorts of bait. You know – with things like food and water.

You are right on with that Arab Spring.. Crazy how people say the “Zionists” are the problem in the east. I dont see that at all. I see Islam , which is seriously anti Jewish and anti Christian.
