While on birds, here are two real incidents . Its up to you what to make of it. In Buddhism we say that to cage a bird is to cage your ancestor, and your own future re—birth.
People who kept parrots caged to entertain them. Every one that we knew of, or read about, were stricken with cancer months/a year or two later. All the wealth they had went to fighting the disease. In one case, the entire older people of a family had the disease. Till the youngest of the lot decided to donate the parrot to the Buddhist temple. He was Cured.

Three friends enjoyed duck hunting. Each season when migratory ducks from the bitter cold of the north flew to the warmer south, these guys would be out with their hunting rifles. Not for long though. On the way to the hunting grounds one of them lost control of the Volvo and smashed into the back of a huge trailer. Police and firemen took 3 hours to extricate their mangled, dismembered, smashed face bodies.
They were cremated. With the family not certain which part belonged to which body.
WOW. I would not ever have a pet parrot. They bite…real hard. I have been bit by one.
ALL birds are adorable. It makes us SICK to the guts when we buy cages of birds, absolutely beautiful ones, to take to the wilds and set them free. Knowing that they will be trapped again by greedy hunters. The vicious cycle goes on. But we do what we can. More sickening is to witness a beautiful coloured bird have its neck wrung for meat!
Son NO. 1 recently found an injured coloured bird. He took it home and nursed it for three days. He set it free when it started to fly in his room.
I would not have a bird caged.
I like birds flying free.
My Mom has a hummingbird feeder–she has probably 40-50 hummers a day

I suppose a lot of people think this only pertains to the ‘spiritual?’ I dont think so!
Well, what you are so beautifully quoting is the 1,000 year reign of Christ here on earth, following the Tribulation. There will be a remnant of survivors (human and animal – including birds! ) – who will live (and reproduce) in this wonderful world, until the Tempter is released “for a season.” Sounds so wonderful. There will be limited sin, but very limited, due to the fact that Satan is bound during this time.
I’m not sure how anyone can speak authoritatively about what will be after that – we know very little about it from Scripture. Only Rev. 21 and 22 (there are some OT references as well) touch on it.
As impossible a it seems – some people will still choose to reject the Creator after Satan is released. This is the final “purification” before eternity. (Great White Throne Judgement)

We are beyond a shadow of a doubt in the last church age, (lukewarm), addressed in Revelation 3. The truly apostate church will be those “left behind.” These pseudo Christians will actually follow the anti -Christ! (Also known as the ecumenical One World Religion ] The Jews are going to reject him though!
There is some really good work being done out there now – trying to anticipate what kind of lie Lucifer will foist on the world at the time of the “catching away” of the church. {Which correlates with the Feast of Trumpets – outlined in Leviticus 23:24.) The general consensus is that it will be made to appear as some kind of “alien” activity. Could be. Who knows? I did a complete study on the prophetic nature of these feasts (down to the very minute) for FOTM – but they are not on the site any longer.
