Little Bird Lover
I love birds. They are so free, have no cares. God feeds the birds. They soar through the air and look like flying flowers. If I could be anything, it would be a bird. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if birds could come up to us without any fear at all? I hear in UK, the crows walk right up to people. I have little bunnies I feed, but the only birds that come really close are hummingbirds. They are incredible to watch. Made so intricately by HaShem.

Do not cage birds , please. It brings misfortune and much unhappiness.
We Buddhists periodically buy huge cages of all kinds of birds and release them in the wilds and mountains where they fly off to freedom that is their God given Right.

I agree, QV. I once shot a bird with my brand new bb gun, as a kid. I didn’t believe I’d hit it. I did. I still feel ashamed—50 years later.
I bet the same persons who would abort a baby, with no qualms, get all upset about putting down dogs and cats at the shelter.
If so, our culture and the personality it generates is insane.

Have you ever held a Hummingbird in your hand? I have. You wouldn’t think it, but their beaks are really soft and pliable. I captured it up in a skylight on a porch we were building, then let it go free.
