Why all the hype about the Confederate flag? Don’t we have a negro in the White house? Evidently, flying a Mexican flag above an upside down American flag is ok, though.

I remember hearing a liberal feller on NPR (yes, I admit it. I HAVE listened to NPR), during the Bush administration talking about the American flag and how he refused to allow the “right” to steal his flag. It belongs to all of us. All of our ideas make the US strong. Some make it stronger, some weaken it. So, that to say, who has the right to condemn the Confederate Flag? As I understand, it is a reminder of how the Federal Government usurped the US Constitution and the rights of States as Sovereign entities. Not a bad thing to remember. And yeah, it is the “Rebel Flag.” And rebel we will again, against the “supposed authority” of such actions, or be plowed under as fodder for an uncertain, Global future.

NPR does not always lie, and in these times, people will seek the truth in any avenue.
Amen to what you are saying. The Confederate flag does not bother me at all.

About 6 years ago, I had to work at an Inn making hardly anything. $12- an hour in Carmel, Cali is like $5- an hour. Eating top ramans, etc.

Bless you MJ. I have a brother here that loves me and has taken care of me through the toughest spots. On the road to recovery. Having been a cook, I know how to make T. Ramen taste pretty good!
