i was born and raised in chicago and back then blacks knew there place as chicago is the most segragated in the country. there were streets that were the line they didnt cross. in my opinoin from what i saw as a kid and now 65 years of life, there is no way to even explain the massive differences. its just my thinking that this crap started when the civil rights bill was signed. i was working at a window company and when on the radio announced it was signed the blacks went apeshit hollering and jumping around and they left work mid day. its been down hill ever since. they started that bussing bullshit taking blacks into white schools and people went nuts. now when i see this country it is heart breaking to me. i moved to the deep south where the things that happen in the northern cities dont happen here. people know there is an underlying threat daily of violence if you pull shit they dont like. the one thing that happened to me was i was out next to my drive way planting some roses several years ago and there was ablack guy walking around he headed towards me and i knew i was in a bad place for this. he came up to me and asked me if he could do that if i would give him money. i could see he was nuts and he didnt belong in this neighborhood. and i told him to get lost and he kept it up till finally i flipped out(from fear) and told him if he didnt get the hell off my property i was going to level him with the shovel i had in my hand. i held it up like i was going to beat his brains out and he left. i called the cops and it was no time when they stopped him and hauled him out of the neighborhood i told the dispatcher i threatened him and she told me to go inside the cops would be there. i told her if he comes back im not talking i am going after him. i like coming to your site hearing truth is soooo refreshing
