Donna Summer was THE Disco Queen. My mother saw Donna Summer many times in the 1970′s. Donna had a unique voice. She was not like todays ‘stars’, many who rap, scream, yell and give sane people a bad headache. She was involved in politics, but did not shove her opinions all over folks. True, there were some songs that Donna Summer put out that were just too sexy for my own personal taste, but for you that liked her sultry, soul-filled voice, we included the best videos we could find. Donna passed away from a long bout with cancer. I include a graphic mixed-media I made and a few choice songs.
Rest in peace, I pray, Donna Summer.
