Rita In Blue

Women in America don’t look like this anymore.

They dont act feminine for the most part-no not all, but many. It’s sad.  It really IS because of Hollywood. Rita Hayworth.. was the epitome of femininity. My favorite movie starring Rita was Cover Girl.

Rita was the top pin-up of WW2. Of course she was.. She was beautiful, classy and ladylike. The WW2 generation was the best of people America has ever seen.. Never to be seen again, sadly….

Born Margarita Carmen Cansino, Rita Hayworth was one of the great legends of classic Hollywood known for her talented dancing and sexy roles. The film Blood and Sand and her pin-up poster in World War II catapulted her into legendary status. Her most famous femme fatale role was in the film noir classic Gilda. She drank too much, sadly.

“Dancing in Tijuana when I was 13–that was my ‘summer camp.’ How else do you think I could keep up with Fred Astaire when I was 19?”

“Whatever you write about me, don’t make it sad.”
