Take the sequence of events in Revelations or Isaiah, etc……
The Bible presents these sequences as ending with G-d delivering the consequences of idolatry, of warring against Israel, of failing to act according to His laws.
Does it matter, or HOW does it matter, whether (1) G-d wills the outcomes (steps into history when He feels it is time) or (2) G-d simply establishes laws of cause and effect (karma if you want) and then stands back to watch how human beings produce their own destiny—stepping in to protect the remnant or to give the penitent another chance?
Either way, the Bible says what must be done to avoid the consequences—of G-d’s intervention or the working out of His laws.
