Things were not all that much cheaper in the 1980′s, by the way. Cars were a little cheaper. But, I remember buying a pair of GUESS jeans in 1983, they were $60-.. Food was not that much cheaper, either. I actually made more money in the 1980′s than any other time in my adult life.
