To the editor:

It certainly appears that history repeats itself in various means. Ancient Rome had Caligula. We in the modern United States of America have Barak Hussein Obama. Caligula was a coward, yet he was of ferocious aspect. Drunk with power, he began imposing his insane whims on the people surrounding him.

Senators were obligated to kiss his feet. Some historians say he had homosexual tendencies. In time, he came to regard himself as a god and invited - nay commanded - the public to worship him as one.

Caligula eventually demonstrated his supreme contempt for his subjects. He appointed a horse, not just the back part of one as our “leader” has, to the second highest position in the realm. Caligula was a mad, perverted, debauched and altogether evil man.

It is difficult to believe that in this modern day and age we should find another human being as contemptuous of mankind. But we have. We have Obama, and he has his own Incitatuses. Or at least, they are part of that fabled equine. The good news is, we can vote our version of Gaius Germanicus out of power - soon. And with him will go his stable of sycophants.
