Gas and oil investor Yitzhak Tshuva recently declared, “We have turned Israel into a great energy power. Today is a holiday for every citizen of Israel. It’s a day of joy.” He also recited the Shehecheyanu blessing for new and happy tidings.
The offshore projects also will inject billions of dollars in construction of the infrastructure to bring gas online and will add thousands of jobs, including those for engineers.
Another beneficiary will be the environment as electric generating stations switch from coal to gas.
This tiny patch of land called Israel, it turns out, has an immense oil patch southwest of Jerusalem, far from any disputed territory. Israel also has immense natural gas deposits off its north coast.
It was so prophesied in the Bible that He would make His land the Wealthiest and most Sovereign in the world to Glorify Him.
And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath” (Deut 33:13).
Or,
“They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand” (Deut 33:19
God has put the oil where we find it today. Scripture tells us that He himself placed this vast wealth in the cradle of civilization. In Revelation we read,
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being” (Rev 4:11).
Israel indeed will have enormous wealth. This is clearly indicated in numerous Bible prophecies. And, not incidentally, all of these prophecies are not vague nor oblique statements that may imply anything but prove nothing. All align with each other. For example,
“You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast” (Isaiah 61:6).
Also,
“Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come” (Isaiah 60:5). (Also see Isaiah 66:12, Micah 4:13, Isaiah 60:11 and Zech 14:14.)
In each verse, wealth flows “to” Israel … not “from.” Moreover, no oil transfers are specifically mentioned in these verses.
Rest assured, God will be faithful to his promises to Israel, as He repeatedly confirms in the Bible.
“‘As you have been an object of cursing among the nations, O Judah and Israel, so will I save you, and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid, but let your hands be strong.’ This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Just as I had determined to bring disaster upon you and showed no pity when your fathers angered me,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘so now I have determined to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid’” (Zech 8:13-15).
Israel, one of the world’s fastest-growing economies and one of the most advanced: Per capita it ranks No. 1 in scientific papers, high-tech startups, civilian R&D and PhDs.

Construction workers in Jerusalem have discovered a large underground cave full of fresh flowing water. Very few Americans ask vehemently: “How could our U.S. Congress bequeath such a legacy upon our young men and women in the Armed Forces?” Projections show that at least 100,000 veterans will commit suicide from service in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. Last year 6000 War Veterans committed suicide. Oooooh, don’t want to know. Bury the head in the bog of Denial and Ignorance to live another day —- so friggin’ “feel good” , wot?
Then of course, God’s prophecies. When I write of His warnings, ooooh, I am Hate America, Anti America, blah blah blah. They do not realize they have condemned themselves to the Wraths when the Angels pour out the Vials —- I expect around 2016.

As you are corresponding with Philip Daniel, perhaps you could encourage him to write and educate about Islam and Muslims to Manhattan College which is revamping its Holocaust Center to include the further study of other genocides, as well as interfaith activities that would include Islam alongside Judaism and Christianity — the two religions that until now have been mostly alone at the core of Holocaust interfaith issues.
They just appointed a MUSLIM Mehnaz Afridi, 40, to be director of what will be renamed the Holocaust, Genocide and Interfaith Education Center.
Afridi is awaiting publication of her first book, “The Shoah Through Muslim Eyes.” The book, Afridi told The Jewish Week, grew out of “my frustration with the anti-Semitism within the Muslim community, its lack of education, [its] denial of the Holocaust, or those that say it wasn’t six million but two million. Negating someone’s history or someone’s truth is actually quite a huge sin.”
“I want to educate people about Muslims,” she said,
So, there , a wonderful opportunity to EDUCATE her on the atrocities of Islam. Philip Daniel can have a field day. What fun! And oh, do ask him to publish his letter to Mehnaz Afridi, and the Manhattan College?
