The government left a deliberate “SMUGGLING CORRIDOR” that coincidently corresponds with RAUL GRIJALVA’S (D-AZ) 8th DISTRICT! Most of this land is ADMINISTERED by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! This corridor starts west of the border city of NOGALES, extends westward 100 or so miles through USFS LANDS, The BUENOS AIRES National Wildlife Refuge, and the TOHONO ODAM Nation( Mexican Americans and Mexican citizens legally classified as “NATIVE AMERICANS” Thus “ENTITLED” to all the taxpayer supplied BENEFITS!). A friend who worked as a superintendant for SUNDT CONSTRUCTION, building border fence at a million per mile, said they were legally stopped by an army of COMMY leftist organizations who sued the feds to stop the work! Human rights groups( derechos Hermanos), SIERRA CLUB, Defenders of Wildlife and TRIBAL Legal Eagles, were litterally combing the area, crying about SACRED mesquite trees, bisected critical habitat, and division of the great PAPAGO PEOPLE! 100 year old “JUNK” (mining shacks, adobe footings, cattle pens) became great cultural artifacts! this corridor works its way north past TUCSON ending at I-8 just west of CASA GRANDE!
