I stringly suggest everyone read “To Eliminate the Opiate” (Vols 1 and 2) by Rabbi Marvin S Antelman. You can order it via Amazon. This book came out in the early 1970s and Rabbi Antelman predated Rabbi Kahane.
Rabbi Antelman exposes thoroughly the ages-old plot to destroy not only Christianity but Torah Judaism as well….via the Illuminati, the Frankists (who are the forerunners of the modern Haskala/reform/”conservative” heretics). His books explain it ALL.
My late grandma had a breakfast table like the “retro” one. Only it wasn’t “retro” for her at the time, it was what I always remember her having. Boy did seeing that bring back memories. The chairs she had were different, but the table…man…wow. I’d sit at that table and have coffee with her and we’d talk.

you know, I’ve read a lot of your posts and I tend to disagree with them all, but this one is perfect! I couldn’t agree more with you. When women left the home, they made room for all kinds of evils to usurp their role in the family. Although, I have to say, in general today, parents do NOT pay enough mind to what is out there and what kids are becoming a part of….and I’m only 20 and feeling this way. It hurts to see how my long-time friends have turned out because of their mothers (and I say that, with a full knowledge of their family dynamics). anyway, just wanted to say spot on!

I only like it if that’s what she generally wants to do and isn’t pushing an agenda like you are. If she is wearing those sexy clothes because she genuinely wants to, it’s one thing. If it’s to rail against something in a completely nonsensical way out of sensationalist panic- a reflex kick against what has happened so far- then I want no part of it. I am sick and tired of people like you getting scared that there is such a thing as progress, and are sticking to your backward ways in an attempt to hold onto the only thing you think you have left- your own principles. Now I don’t have anything against holding onto principles, ma’am. I hold onto quite a few myself despite my outright debauchery. But one has to realize that while you prefer it one way, just because someone else prefers it the opposite way does not make them wrong- it’s like getting mad at everyone else in your perceived gender box for having a vagina.
Now let me tell you- I feel the backlash, much like you do. I feel like I am in a world where looks are what matters. The way I sound is what matters to others. When people hear me, they have the hardest time calling me by what I want to be called. I sense the tension and awkwardness in their voices. External evidence proves contrary to something I have consistently proven correct about myself. I have been pidgeonholed, laughed at, dehumanized, and outright mocked. In the midst of it all, I came to the realization that life is what you make it, and it’s useless to try and force opinions on others. It is useful and logical to remain open, but not everyone is. In the end, I will be called “she” even though the essence of what I am is “he”.
Now do you see why I find this offensive as hell? I am stuck in this body and have to make the most of it even though it doesn’t feel right. It will never be completely right no matter what I do. The way I truly am will never fully be expressed if I speak and people hear me, or if they see me- because people judge the outside of a person first and not what’s inside them.
I’ll get off my soapbox now, and if you don’t mind, get in the kitchen and make me a goddamn sandwich. Bring a fucking beer while you’re at it- this is going to be a long night.

Really, dear, I’ve never felt the least bit confused about my femininity, and I work full time and let my husband stay home and care for our child—which was 100% his decision that I’m making an effort to support. If it helps, I do own a sewing machine (learned to sew in college), know how to cook (my husband taught me), maintain a small herb garden, give the best back skritches, and would love to have pretty nightgowns except for the fact that my husband prefers me without.
You, madam, demean women, men, and yourself by your narrow assumptions of what constitutes “correct” based only on your limited personal experiences.
My mother is the biggest feminist I know, having made the choice to stay home and raise four children. She’s always taken great care with her appearance, remains among the best cooks I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing, is cool under fire, responsible, and raised us all to be strong, not take crap from anyone, and stick to our guns when it’s called for. My parents raised a homemaker, a nurse, a computer programmer, and a librarian, all of whom are in stable relationships with children of their own, and not one of which who can’t change a tire, change their oil, cook at least a basic meal, or tolerate injustice.
Did your mother do so well?
